The journey started in 2011 with PJ Dolan’s Irish Pub in the Palms Connection plaza. Later, the name changed to The Wexford, keeping the same pub-style menu and atmosphere. Both spots built memories, but the community always held a strong connection to the original Remington’s Steakhouse that once stood at this location. That history inspired the idea to create something new while honoring a name locals remembered and valued.

Success with Birkin’s Steak & Sushi in Lutz showed there was room for another concept—one that offered great steaks in a casual, affordable way. Research revealed the Remington’s name was still loved locally and only in use at two restaurants in North Carolina. With permission to revive it, the vision became clear: serve choice steaks and seafood at prices that make dining out easy for families, friends, and anyone who enjoys good food in a relaxed setting.

The mission is to keep dining approachable while delivering food and service that remind Tampa why the Remington’s name carries so much meaning.
